At FBC Westwego, we are blessed to have one terrific student ministry, full of teens who are passionate about learning about the word of God and what it means to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ. Beginning this Wednesday, Septemer 28th, and running for four consecutive weeks, we will be utilizing a study called “Not a Fan: Teen Edition” to answer one pivotal question in our lives: Are you a true follower of Jesus, or just a fan? What’s the difference, you ask?
Well, that’s precisely one of the questions that this study will delve into. The study is based on a book by the same name which was written by an incredible author named Kyle Idleman. Kyle is a teaching pastor at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky and has also written several other discipleship-themed books, many of which have also been turned into studies.
