Letter From the Pastor

October 2020

Hello friends and family,

With school and football finally both starting back up (albeit in a strange form) one would think we would all feel more “back to normal.” Honestly, I can’t say that I do. Here we are now in October and I am glancing back over my shoulder thinking about how strange a year this has been. At the same time, it remains a comforting thought that regardless of the crazy events we are experiencing, God is no less in control than he was at the moment of creation. Our temporal world seems disheveled, confused and angry but there is great peace in knowing that we are loved by a creator who does not change and whose love for us cannot be dissuaded.

If you have come to this website as a visitor, I hope you will take advantage of the information here to help answer any questions you might have. Please take time to familiarize yourself with our ministries, our statement of faith and our history. We look forward to meeting you if you decide to come for a visit.

Currently, we are meeting at 10:30 am on Sunday mornings. We have an open small group that meets at 6:30 on Wednesday evenings which digs deeper into the message from the previous Sunday morning. Our Abide Student Ministry (6-12 grade) meets at 6 on Wednesday Evenings. All other small groups are suspended at this time. We will soon be relaunching our WegoKids time on Sunday mornings as well as our regular nursery ministry.

May God continue to bless the work of his hands as we remain faithful and obedient to his direction for our lives.

In His Grip,
Pastor Jay
