Letter From the Pastor

May 2020

Hey Church Family,

It’s now May and I don’t know about you, but this has been the strangest 2 months of my life. What a world we are experiencing. We are certainly praying that the most difficult time is behind us but there are likely still some residual issues that will linger with us for some time. We know there has been health tragedies and loss of life but there are also significant issues related to the financial markets that we are waiting to see resolved. Let us all continue to pray that God will bring about some wonderful things from these current heartaches and woes.

If you come to this website as a visitor, I hope you will have a look around and engage with us at your convenience. I am always happy to answer any questions you might have and to give you more information about our church. Currently, we are, of course, in quarantine and are not meeting at our regular 10:30 am Sunday morning time. That will continue until we are first given the go-ahead by our elected authorities, and by our trusted medical community. Then our leadership will assess our particular circumstances and will make the decision to meet together once again. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our ministries, our statement of belief and our history. We look forward to seeing you if you decide to come for a visit. Be sure to visit our “Sermons” page to view our Quarantine messages and to take advantage of our Worship Guides and WegoKids printouts.

I assume each church member has been keeping up with my regular emails. That is the key way we have been communicating with the body and it has been a very helpful tool to get information back and forth to one another during this time. If you are not receiving regular emails from me, please be sure to let me know, especially if you have recently changed an email address.

May God continue to bless the work of his hands as we remain faithful and obedient to his direction for our lives.

In His Grip,
Pastor Jay
